Halpern Enterprises, Inc. announces the acquisition of Athens Marketplace, a 74,224-square-foot shopping center at 1061 Kelli Drive in Athens, Alabama. The newly constructed neighborhood retail strip is anchored by TJ Maxx and Ross Dress for Less. Athens Marketplace is situated just northwest of Halpern-owned Heritage Square, a 60,767-square-foot shopping center in Madison, Alabama.

"This acquisition allows Halpern to strategically expand its footprint by adding a new high-quality property with strong national tenancy in a thriving, high-growth market."
Built in 2024, Athens Marketplace is 100% leased to TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Ulta Beauty, Five Below, Rack Room Shoes, America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, High Cotton Nail Bar and Therapy South. The property offers exceptional visibility, with a signalized entrance at Highway 72 and Kelli Drive and an average daily traffic count exceeding 30,000 vehicles.
