On Saturday, May 3, the Tomball community gathered at the historic Depot Plaza for Tomball Prays Together, an annual event held in observance of National Day of Prayer. This cherished community tradition brought together residents, local leaders, and faith representatives for a morning of reflection, worship, and unified prayer.
Mayor Lori Klein Quinn and Councilmembers Dane Dunagin and Lisa Covington were in attendance to show their support, alongside ministers from local churches and worship leader Megan Lynette, who led the group in a stirring musical tribute with performances of the National Anthem and God Bless America.
Throughout the gathering, attendees joined together in collective prayer across several themes:
Healing: Lifting up those whose lives have been impacted by trauma, asking for restoration and wholeness.
Faith and Renewal: Praying for churches across Tomball to be strengthened in their mission and renewed in their efforts to serve the community.
Transformation: Asking for positive transformation throughout the city-praying that Tomball remains a place of peace, blessing, and strong relationships.
Wisdom in Leadership: Offering prayers for local and national leaders, asking for guidance and integrity in every decision made on behalf of the people they serve.
The event reflected the heart of Tomball: a community grounded in faith, compassion, and shared values. Tomball Prays Together continues to serve as a meaningful reminder of the power of prayer and unity in shaping a hopeful future.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year's observance and to those who continue to uplift and serve the Tomball community through faith and fellowship.
