Licensing your pets just got even more rewarding!

Get ready to unlock exclusive perks with Tag and Wag Benefits, a new 'tail-wag-worthy' rewards program for Vaughan and King Township residents who license their pets.

Being part of Tag and Wag Benefits is easy! Here's how it works:

1. Purchase or renew your pet licence to receive your digital membership card.
2. Check out vaughan.ca/TagAndWag for an updated list of businesses in Vaughan and King Township participating in the program.
3. Show your membership card in participating stores to receive your benefit.
4. Renew your pet licence annually to continue redeeming the benefits. Access to benefits is available for one year from your pet licence purchase/renewal date.

Why do pets need to be licensed?

Licensing pets is one of the best ways to keep them safe. It helps to easily identify and safely reunite lost pets with their owners and ensures pets stay up to date with important vaccinations. How will I receive my membership card?

After purchasing or renewing your pet licence, you will receive an email that includes your receipt and digital membership card. You can save the digital membership card to your mobile device, for example in your digital wallet, or print it and keep it in your wallet to show participating local businesses.

Will my Tag and Wag Benefits expire?

Yes, access to benefits is available for one year from the pet licence purchase date. You must renew your pet licence annually to continue redeeming the benefits.

Become a Tag and Wag Benefits partner!

If you own a business in Vaughan or King Township, you can gain visibility while demonstrating the importance of annually licensing pets by partnering with the City of Vaughan in the Tag and Wag Benefits program. Being a partner is easy and FREE.

Just follow these steps:

1. Fill out the form if you are interested in becoming a partner.
2. Decide on the benefit you will provide to licensed pet owners. 
3. Sign a Tag and Wag Benefits partner agreement.
4. Honour the benefit when a customer shows you their current Tag and Wag Benefits membership card.
