Arrests Made in N. Washington St. Shooting

The Rockville City Police Department has charged Caleb Jiron, 18, of Frederick, and Ferddy Gonzalez-Soto, 18, of Montgomery Village, in connection with the shooting on N. Washington St. Jiron and Gonzalez-Soto were taken into custody shortly after the shooting by Rockville City Police Department officers. Both were armed with privately made firearms, commonly referred to as "ghost guns." Jiron and Gonzalez-Soto have been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, First Degree Assault, Second Degree Assault, Reckless Endangerment, and various firearms violations. The victim remains in stable condition in an area hospital.
