Starting January 31, San Mateo County Parks welcomes Sage Bakehouse back to the Sawyer Camp segment of Crystal Springs Regional Trail, where every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon they'll be selling hot and cold drinks, pastries, and best of all, their individual savory pies. Trail visitors can find the Sage service truck in the Crystal Springs Dam parking lot (view a map). Sage Bakehouse is a Montara based purveyor known for its New Zealand style hand-held pies.

San Mateo County Parks continues to explore ways to enhance park visitor experiences. The Sawyer Camp Segment of the regional trail is highly popular, especially on weekends when families and friends meet up to start their day with a hike or bike ride. Often, visitors bring beverages and snacks to enjoy at the start, end or during their trail visit.
