Democrat chairman toppled in chaotic "coup"

Arizona Democrats staged a humiliating "coup," deposing Democrat chairman Robert Branscomb in a chaotic four-hour meeting that exposed dysfunctional Democrats' complete financial and strategic collapse.

  • "I would call it a coup," Brandcomb said, blaming "racism." Democrats burned through nearly 60 percent of their money in the last six months, putting them on track for bankruptcy before year's end.
  • Democrats also face brutal primary bloodbaths further draining resources and exposing their candidates' radical views - with nine Democrats tearing each other apart in the 1st Congressional district primary and a staggering fourteen in the 6th district.

"While Democrats are busy pointing fingers, calling each other racist and lighting cash on fire, House Republicans are charging ahead with historic fundraising, proven winner candidates and real results on the issues Arizonans care about. The contrast couldn't be clearer." - NRCC Spokesperson Ben Petersen
