E21 Worship Collective Executive Team gathered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 17-19, 2026
Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 24, 2026-Worship leaders from around the world converged at Oral Roberts University for the inaugural Empowered21 Worship Collective Gathering-a landmark three-day event that marked a defining moment in the history of Spirit-empowered worship.
The gathering held February 17-19, convened influential worship leaders spanning generations from multiple nations across six continents. The central theme was authentic health in the global worship movement. The participants were encouraged to reconnect with the deeper purpose of their calling. Amid powerful sessions of encouragement, equipping, and collaborative songwriting, participants were challenged to honor their sacred call to be worship shepherds for the church. The final night welcomed the broader community for an impactful worship experience.
Dr. William M. Wilson, Global Chair of Empowered21 and President of Oral Roberts University, addressed the Collective's executive team, highlighting the historic nature of this gathering and recognizing the significant impact of Empowered21 Worship Collective co-chairs, Pastors Darlene Zschech and Russell Evans on the worldwide worship revival that began in Australia in the late 20th century and continues to this day.
Darlene Zschech, highlighted the inclusive nature of true worship and the need for intentional relationships. "Mothers and fathers have hard conversations. We as mothers and fathers say, I love you more than your gift," Zschech explained. "When people know they are loved, they will welcome you and invite you into their space. Worship and leadership have become very exclusive... We have to fight against exclusivity. Worship is inclusive. Every man, woman, and child. Every tribe, every tongue."
Andrew Yeo from Singapore captured the event's sacred atmosphere. "The first E21 Worship Collective Gathering felt deeply sacred to me. It's more than an event; it felt like a moment God had prepared," Yeo stated. "Worship leaders from different nations came together, not to build platforms, but to return to His presence. I kept sensing the Lord saying He is restoring the purity of worship again. Hearts are being re-aligned, hidden worshippers are being awakened, and God is re-tuning the sound of His Church."
Russell Evans from Planetshakers in Australia emphasized the unifying power of exalting Christ. "God's bringing the body of Christ together from all nations and all tribes to join our passions and our hearts together to lift up the name of Jesus," Evans said. "When Jesus is lifted up, it draws people. And that's what we're doing here."
Fernanda Brum from Brazil spoke to the humility at the heart of revival. "I believe that God is doing a big revival in unity. It's not about idols, it's not about names. It's about Jesus Christ," Brum declared. "Everyone is throwing their crowns on the altar of Christ. Because the only one who is worthy of honor and glory is Jesus Christ."
Noel Robinson from the United Kingdom described the divine orchestration behind the event. "God always prepares the atmosphere and the environment before He moves. He doesn't move by luck," Robinson noted. "This event has been designed to connect what God has called in the heavens to what needs to happen on the earth. This is a glorious event."
Attendees, including worship leaders and students from Oral Roberts University (Tulsa, OK), Life Pacific University (San Dimas, CA), Evangel University (Springfield, MO), Southwestern Christian University (Bethany, OK), left equipped to disciple emerging leaders and to carry the sound of revival back to their campuses.
Ashley Wilson, Global Executive Director of Empowered21, underscored the gathering's role in reshaping worship dialogues worldwide. "As we met with the Executive Team for the Worship Collective, there was a clear consensus of need for deep, real, authentic health in the worship movement," Wilson said. "One of our goals at E21 is to help shape the future of the Spirit-empowered movement. We are honored to serve this space as it's reshaping the conversations about worship around the world!"
Plans are underway for the second Empowered21 Worship Collective Gathering, set to return to the campus of Oral Roberts University in 2027. To stay informed on dates, speakers, and registration, follow @e21worship on Instagram or visit e21worshipcollective.com.
