Burson Named PR Agency of the Year at the 2026 Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity

Agency caps historic week with top industry honor, adding to PR Lions Grand Prix win for the KitKat Heist

(CANNES, FRANCE) 24 June, 2026 - Burson London earned the PR Agency of the Year title at the 2026 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It caps a landmark week that also included winning the PR Lions Grand Prix in Crisis Communications & Issues Management for The KitKat Heist.

The PR Agency of the Year honor recognizes the agency that accumulates the highest overall number of points from shortlisted and winning entries in the PR Lions category during the festival. Burson's performance this year included the PR Lions Grand Prix - the most prestigious award in the PR category - alongside four Gold Lions and three Silver Lions for KitKat's "The KitKat Heist." The campaign was created by VML and brought to life in partnership with Burson.

The agency earned winning Lions credits on 1001 Optometry's "Magnify-Eye" and Oreo's "Oreo Cows" work - with Oreo securing the Titanium Lion. And Burson's work with Ford on "Ford Truckle" also earned shortlist recognition for Social Behavior in PR and Direct categories.

"This recognition belongs to every Burson person, and to the clients whose partnership and bravery make work like this possible," said Corey duBrowa, Global CEO, Burson. "Being recognized as PR Agency of the Year and as a Grand Prix winner reflects the breadth of what we've built and the depth of what is possible for us to do. Together, they tell a story about where this agency, and this discipline, is headed."

Burson London's PR Agency of the Year global honor placed ahead of Golin Ketchum London and Ninch Company, Buenos Aires.
