SEPA 2025 Go-live Release, Instant Payments and VOP: a success for Capital Banking Solutions and its clients

Capital Banking Solutions (CBS) announces the successful go-live of the SEPA 2025 Release, Instant Payments, and VOP for its European clients.

Capital Banking Solutions (CBS) successfully completed the simultaneous go-live of 21 sites, including the implementation of Instant Payments (outgoing) and Beneficiary Verification (VoP), over the weekend of October 4-5, 2025.

The SEPA 2025 Release program prepares financial institutions for the next generation of European payments by integrating common standards for greater efficiency, interoperability, and security across the SEPA zone.

Instant Payments enable fund transfers in less than 10 seconds, 24/7, and are now mandatory for all European banks. Beneficiary Verification (VoP) ensures that the beneficiary's name matches the IBAN account, enhancing payment security and preventing fraud risk.

This go-live marks an important milestone in the digital transformation of these institutions, demonstrating CBS's ability to deliver stable, operational solutions that comply with new European regulatory requirements, while meeting ambitious deadlines.
