Mason, OH - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of the individual responsible for an attempted firebombing at the Masonic Temple Lodge 678, located at 733 Western Row, Mason, Ohio.
On Thursday, September 25, 2025, at approximately 12:20 a.m., a suspect shattered a window and threw a homemade incendiary device through it in an attempt to initiate a fire. This offense is being investigated by ATF's Cincinnati Field Office in cooperation with the Mason Police Department.
It is a federal crime to maliciously damage or destroy, or attempt to damage or destroy, with fire or an explosive, with violations punishable by a minimum of five (5) years, and up to 20 years, in federal prison.
