The National Scholarships Office encourages interested sophomores and juniors to apply to the Fulbright Canada MITACS Globalink Internship Program, a 10-to-12-week summer program that funds undergraduates to conduct summer research projects alongside faculty in Canada, essentially making this study abroad that you are getting paid to do.
The best part is that there are no field of study requirements. That means that, regardless of your major, you can pursue this program.
The Fulbright Canada MITACS Globalink Internship is not a Fulbright Scholarship. However, students who have completed international research internships are great applicants for the Fulbright Scholarship.
