The Rancho Cordova Police Department (RCPD) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an $82,000 grant from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) to reduce alcohol-related harm in its community. This is the fourth year in a row that RCPD has partnered with ABC to help keep our community and businesses safe.
The funds will be used to help prevent alcoholic beverage sales to minors and obviously intoxicated patrons, illegal solicitations of alcohol, and other criminal activities, such as the sale and possession of illegal drugs.
This project is part of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control's Minor Decoy/ Shoulder Tap Grant project, funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
