H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, is scheduled to pay a working visit to Malaysia on 6 - 7 September 2026 to follow up on the outcomes of the official visit of H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister, to Malaysia on 9 - 10 July 2026.

The Deputy Prime Minister will meet with H.E. Dato' Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, to discuss bilateral cooperation between Thailand and Malaysia, especially in the areas of border security, combatting transnational crime, enhancing border connectivity, and development of border areas between the two countries in order to uplift the well-being of the people. They will also discuss issues to be jointly advanced within the framework of the 16th Meeting of the Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JC) and the 7th Ministerial Meeting of the Joint Development Strategy for Border Areas (JDS) between Thailand and Malaysia, which Thailand will host later this year.
