Seven contestants will compete for Miss HSU title January 24

Seven Henderson State University students will vie for the title of Miss HSU 2026 January 24 at 6 p.m. in the Russell Fine Arts Center's Harwood Recital Hall. The categories for the 66th annual competition will include private interview, talent, on-stage question, and evening gown. The pageant is a preliminary event for Miss Arkansas.

The event will also include the Miss Henderson State University Teen Scholarship competition.

Competing for Miss HSU are:

  • McKenzie Sanders, a senior pre-med biology major from Little Rock
  • Zoe' Davis, a sophomore psychology major from Arkadelphia
  • Laura Figueroa, a junior physical education K-12 major from De Queen
  • Zaniyah Thompson, a sophomore business administration major from North Little Rock
  • Allison Robinson, a sophomore business administration major from McGehee
  • Ava Littleton, a sophomore sport management major from Kennedale, Texas
  • Jamaya Milow, a sophomore healthcare major from West Memphis

General admission is $10, and $5 for 18 and under. Admission is free for HSU students with a valid university ID, visiting royalty, sponsors, and Miss Arkansas volunteers.

People's Choice voting will be available in the lobby.

The Russell Fine Arts Center is located at 604 North 12th Street.
