The winners of the nationally recognised UK Jewellery Awards 2026, in association with the Betts Group, were revealed in a glittering ceremony in London last night (8 July).
Now in its 34th year, the UK Jewellery Awards, organised by leading jewellery and watch industry title Retail Jeweller, is this country's longest running and most prestigious trade awards event, established in 1992 to recognise the achievements of those working in all areas of the UK jewellery sector.
With 21 targeted categories, the awards cover every aspect of the industry, from jewellery design and ethical business practice through to customer service and successful retailing.
Big winners on the night included Northwest independent Wongs which walked away with two gongs for Bridal Jewellery Retailer of the Year and Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five stores or fewer), meanwhile crystal jewellery behemoth Swarovski scooped the coveted Fashion Jewellery Brand of the Year accolade and Berry's Jewellers took home the Retailer of the Year (six stores or more) award.
Gary Williams, president of the National Association of Jewellers, was recognised with the night's highest honour and presented with the prestigious Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award for his contribution to the jewellery trade here in the UK.
The UK Jewellery Awards is the most admired and relevant awards event in the jewellery industry and provide trade recognition and unrivalled networking opportunities.
Ruth Faulkner, managing editor, Retail Jeweller, said,
"Once again, the UK Jewellery Awards, in association with The Betts Group, proved to be THE night of the year for the UK jewellery trade with 600 guests joining us for an unforgettable evening of celebration.
"As ever, the standard of entries this year has been nothing short of exceptional. Our rigorous and completely independent judging process - free from commercial influence and driven by a panel of expert judges - ensures that being shortlisted, let alone winning, is a true badge of honour."
In addition to headline partner The Betts Group, category sponsors included CME Jewellery, D.Louise, Gisser, Hockley Mint, The Jewellery Show, Lightspeed, Osmium Institute, Single Mine Origin and TH March. A host of sponsors also helped to bring the event to life on the night. Guests were welcomed with a drinks reception sponsored by the Company of Master Jewellers, while JQV Gems sponsored candy floss.
WOLF sponsored a claw machine, Olivia Burton sponsored the funfair, and Bespoke Quarter sponsored the desserts. The UK Jewellery Awards also welcomed Metal & Rocks as this year's official jewellery sponsor.
