At the 47th Istanbul Marathon-the world's only intercontinental marathon-we ran for a meaningful cause. In response to the growing impact of climate change and the devastating effects of forest fires on nature and wildlife, we chose to support TEMA Foundation, one of Türkiye's leading environmental NGOs dedicated to combating erosion, protecting natural assets, and promoting sustainable land and forest management.
With every step, we contributed to TEMA Foundation's "Before It Burns: Forest Fire Education and Awareness Project," helping raise awareness among young people who will become future ambassadors for forest fire prevention. The initiative also supports erosion control through the creation of the "Before It Burns" Forest.
