NTCA Seeks FCC Waiver to Help Ensure Continued Router Availability

(June 26) In a filing with the FCC, NTCA was joined by ACA Connects in urging the Commission to grant a targeted waiver allowing manufacturers to make limited hardware substitutions in previously authorized consumer routers. The associations said the action would help rural broadband providers avoid equipment shortages and continue expanding and maintaining service while suppliers shift production to comply with the commission's rules.
