HOUSTON - Oct. 22, 2026 - Baker Hughes Chairman and CEO Lorenzo Simonelli has been named the 2026 Jesse H. Jones International Citizen of the Year by the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston. The award, now in its 28th year, honors leaders whose vision, contributions and impact extend beyond borders.

Simonelli was formally recognized in at the Jesse H. Jones Awards Luncheon today, October 22, 2026 in Houston. which brings together leaders from more than 100 organizations across Houston's business, diplomatic, energy, academic, and civic communities.

Simonelli was named Chairman of the Board in October 2017 and has been president and CEO since the Company's creation in 2017, where he oversaw the successful merger of GE Oil & Gas with Baker Hughes Inc.
