Maine Community Bank Names Eric Cioffi as Chief Risk Officer

Maine Community Bank has named Eric Cioffi as its new Chief Risk Officer to succeed Julie Brooks, who is retiring this fall.

Cioffi brings more than 25 years of experience in banking and financial services. His background includes enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, internal audit, information security, and bank supervision. Throughout his career, he has helped financial institutions strengthen their risk management practices while supporting long-term growth.

"Eric's background aligns well with where Maine Community Bank is headed," said Steve deCastro, Chief Executive Officer of Maine Community Bank. "He understands both the responsibilities that come with managing risk and the role it plays in supporting our well-capitalized and growing bank. We're excited to welcome Eric to our leadership team."

Cioffi joins Maine Community Bank following an extensive national search to identify the Bank's next Chief Risk Officer.

"We also want to thank Julie for her leadership and commitment to the Bank," deCastro said. "She has played a vital role in strengthening our risk management program, and we wish her all the best in her retirement."

As Chief Risk Officer, Cioffi will oversee the Bank's enterprise risk management program, regulatory compliance, internal audit, information security, and related risk functions.
