Library to Host Free Citizenship and English Classes

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (January 2, 2026) - The Jewish Family Services of Middlesex County (JFS) is offering free Citizenship and English classes at the New Brunswick Free Public Library, aimed at helping legal permanent residents (Green Card holders) prepare for naturalization.

This important program is designed to support beginner and intermediate English language learners who need assistance improving their language skills and passing the U.S. Citizenship test.

Classes will be held every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with the 2026 session beginning on Jan. 6. Participants will receive instruction from certified teachers and dedicated tutors focused on improving English proficiency. Additionally, JFS is Board Certified to provide direct representation and support with the naturalization application process.
