Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of May 15, 2025

Rancho Encantado Lane and West Hatch Road

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Road closure to any through traffic with K-rail and detour in place.

  • Rancho Encantado Lane and West Hatch Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Scenic Drive Pavement Rehabilitation Phase 2

Project Status

Expected to be completed by October 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • Scenic Drive from Bodem Street to Oakdale Road reducing traffic to one lane either direction.

Traffic control in place with flagging one way traffic during placement of speed cushions at the following locations.

  • Ila Way between Lucern Avenue & East Fairmont Avenue
  • Pine Tree Lane between Paradise Road and Kirschen Drive

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


J.M. Pike Park Storm Water to Sanitary Sewer Cross Connection and Water Main

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of May 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Crews will be working:

Monday May 19, 2025

  • Kearney Avenue between Louise Avenue and Princeton Avenue
  • Del Rey Avenue between Princeton Avenue and Del Vista Avenue
  • Mills Avenue between Melinda Lane and West Roseburg Avenue
  • Cecil Way between Tully Road and College Avenue

Tuesday May 20, 2025

  • Leonard Avenue between Tully Road and Kearney Avenue
  • Kearney Avenue between Princeton Avenue and West Roseburg Avenue
  • Pearl Street between Tully Road and Albany Avenue

Monday May 19, Tuesday May 20, and Wednesday May 21

  • Flaggers on Tully Road from Pearl Street to Coldwell Avenue for striping of the bike lanes.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

La Loma Sewer Phase 1

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will consist of lane shifts, flaggers, road closures and detours.

Paving crews will be a mobile traffic control unit in the areas and limits of:

  • Burney Street from Jennie Street to Scenic Drive
  • Alley between Downey Street and Roe De Yoe
  • James Street between Kelley Street to G Street

Including the following residential streets:

  • North Morton Boulevard and Rou De Yoe - Moose Park area.
  • Walden Street, Lane Street, Loma Vista Way, Brook Way, and State Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Well Treatment and Flushline

Project Status

Expected to be completed by June 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control in place, flaggers, lane, and sidewalk closures as needed.

  • South Street in the community of Empire

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.


Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by January 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • on the corner of Woodland Avenue & Poust Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Bret Harte Neighborhood Strengthen and Replace

Project Status

Expected to be completed by August 2025.

Traffic Impacts

Partial road closure to through traffic; open to residents.

  • Glenn Avenue between Crows Landing Road and Dallas Street
  • Seattle Street between Glenn Avenue and Butte Avenue
