#AdvocacyMatters: 2026 Annual Summary

Every year, we take time to reflect on where we have been in order to shape the work of our organization moving forward. During this past year, there is so much for us to celebrate.
We monitored 68 facilities that affected over 4,000 people, provided individual advocacy over 3,000 times , and 13 investigations that impacted over 250 Ohioans with disabilities.
While the numbers are strong, there's a human story behind each one that cannot be replicated.
Our President and CEO, Kerstin Sjoberg, says it best:
"Through the dedication of our team, the support of our allies, and the steady leadership of our Board of Directors, we will continue to grow our advocacy and expand our reach all across Ohio."
