As part of the ongoing Swachhata campaign aligned with the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to transform cleanliness into a sustained, people-led movement, the Senior citizens residing at Jay Shriram Senior Citizen Home, Kargani, operated by Atpadi Taluka Gramin Vikas Sanstha, Maharashtra, actively participated in a Swachhata campaign, reaffirming the spirit of Jan Bhagidari and the importance of collective responsibility in keeping communities clean and healthy.
The Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign, being observed with the theme "Swachhata Mein Sahbhag, Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat", places emphasis on active participation of citizens, institutions and communities in cleanliness and sanitation activities.
