President of the Republic received the Educators who won the “Best of the Year” Competition

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan hosted at the Presidential Residence the teachers who were recognized as winners in 12 categories of the "Best of the Year" competition organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan presented to the President the details of the competition and its categories.

The President welcomed and congratulated the winning teachers. In his remarks, President Khachaturyan emphasized the importance of such initiatives, which demonstrate the state's prioritization of education and appreciation for those working in this vital field. He also expressed gratitude to the teachers for their years of dedicated work and highlighted the invaluable role educators play in shaping a conscious, responsible, and free society.

"The future of our statehood largely depends on you and your work, because a teacher is not merely a mechanical transmitter of knowledge, but a creator of core values in the younger generation," said President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

During the meeting, the President touched upon the government's educational and scientific policy priorities in recent years and answered questions raised by the attendees.

At the end of the meeting, on the eve of Teacher's Day, President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday and wished them continued success.
