TA & SNAP Program Employment Plan open for public comment
The Washington County Department of Social Services Temporary Assistance (TA) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment Plan for 2026-2027 is now available for viewing and open for public comment. Section 333 of the New York State Social Services Law requires that every two years each district submit for approval to OTDA (Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance) a plan that describes the district's employment services program. The Plan must include a description of the provision of education, work, training, and support services for all TA and SNAP applications and recipients along with other information requested for OTDA.
