Ready to Cast a Ballot? In-Person Voting Begins

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (October 23, 2026) - With the 2026 General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 3, it's time to start thinking about casting your vote.

In-person early voting locations are open beginning tomorrow, Oct. 24, through Sunday, Nov. 1, for the 2026 General Election. This option allows all registered voters to cast their ballot in person. Hours will be Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the New Brunswick Hub Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.

Find out how to vote in-person early here.

If you plan to vote by mail, the vote-by-mail ballots cannot be submitted at Early Voting locations. You can:

  • Mail your ballot through the United States Postal System. It must be postmarked on or before 8 p.m. Election Day and be received by the county's Board of Elections on or before six days after Election Day. To make sure your ballot is postmarked on time, put your ballot in the mail at least a few days before Election Day, or go up to the counter at a U.S. Post Office and have a clerk manually stamp the postmark on your ballot envelope.
  • Drop your ballot in one of the secure locations in New Brunswick or around the county. See the complete list of locations here.
  • Return your ballot in-person to the Board of Election, 26 Kennedy Blvd, Suite B, East Brunswick. Identification is required.
Registered voters may also vote in person on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at your assigned polling location.
