Enhancing the scholarship process with strategic review periods
An exciting aspect of the Scholarship Process Improvement initiative is the implementation of strategic application and selection deadlines. Rather than relying on a single annual deadline, Feb. 15 for student applications and April 15 for committee selections, there will be three review cycles per year.
This shift empowers financial aid offices to make timely decisions. It also aligns the process more closely with students' planning needs, offers more responsive support and ensures faster award decisions, and helps students better prepare their academic budgets and financial plans.
