Chinese Ambassador to PNG Yang Xiaoguang Attends the NCD High-Level Technical Meeting on Women’s Economic Development

On 28 November, Chinese Ambassador to PNG H.E. Yang Xiaoguang attended the National Capital District (NCD) High-Level Technical Meeting on Women's Economic Development. Governor for NCD Hon. Powes Parkop attended the event.

Ambassador Yang provided an in-depth elucidation of the key deployments and profound significance of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the recommendations for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He introduced the important outcomes achieved during the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women, noting that China-PNG cooperation fully demonstrates both countries' support to women's cause. China stands ready to work with PNG to deepen China-PNG Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, advance women's all-round development and together build a community with a shared future for humanity.

Governor Parkop said that Deputy Prime Minister Hon. John Rosso attended the Global Leaders' Meeting on Women held in China and achieved fruitful results. PNG is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in women's course with China and all other partners, so as to advance women's development and achieve gender equality.
