NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (April 12, 2025) - "Painting Our Legacy," a special event designed for fathers and their children, is coming to the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center, 11 Livingston Ave. on Thursday, April 17 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This is the latest installment in the "Creative Communities" series. The program offers a relaxed and supportive environment where families can connect, communicate, and create lasting memories through art. All necessary art materials and food will be provided.
"Painting Our Legacy" is hosted by the New Brunswick Fatherhood Council in partnership with Martryce Roach, a self-taught visual artist from New Brunswick who incorporates elements of history, music, geometric shapes, and environment to construct surrealistic art stories about human experiences and relationships, particularly as they relate to African American culture.
