Seismic survey 3DUR26 has launched

Montevideo, March 1, 2026 - CGG Services USA Inc (Viridien), in partnership with ANCAP, has officially launched the 3DUR26 seismic survey under a multi-client agreement. The seismic vessel BGP Prospector has commenced the deployment of streamers, a process expected to take four to five days, after which data acquisition will begin.

The survey will be carried out in two seasons. The first season, scheduled between March and April 2026, will cover 2,500 km². The second season, running from November 2026 through April 2027, will expand coverage to as much as 4,500 km².

This project has received environmental authorization under R.M No. 1482 dated December 5, 2025, and its environmental management plan was approved by R.M No. 170 on February 27, 2026, by the Ministry of Environment.
