City of Iowa City's Revenue Office to change walk-in hours beginning Oct. 6

Iowa City's Revenue Office, which handles customer utility payments, will change its hours of operation beginning Monday, Oct. 6, 2025.

The cashier station will adjust its public hours, opening at 9 a.m. Monday through Friday beginning Oct. 6, instead of 8 a.m. Revenue staff will be available for scheduled appointments from 8 to 9 a.m. Appointments can be scheduled by contacting the Revenue Office at 319-356-5066 and selecting option 3.

Revenue staff will continue to take phone calls from 8 to 9 a.m.

Customers can make payments online, start or stop service, or sign up for automatic payments anytime by visiting https://www.icgov.org/residents/payment.
