Preventing Stunting from an Early Age, United Tractors Launches Intervensi Gizi 2025

Jakarta, October 2, 2025 - PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) reaffirmed its commitment to improving public health through the launch of the Intervensi Gizi UT 2025. This initiative is a collaboration between UT, Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIK) Sint Carolus, and Puskesmas Kecamatan Cakung, with a primary focus on preventing stunting among young children. The program was officially launched by UT's Corporate Communications Team Leader, Meyta Hutapea, attended by Sr. Veronica Dwiatmi Widyastuti, CB., M.Pd, Chairperson of STIK Sint Carolus, and dr. Aditya Galatama Purwadi, Acting Head of Puskesmas Cakung.

A total of 53 toddlers from the Cakung area are participating in the program. They will undergo various nutrition interventions, including parental education, direct health monitoring by medical professionals, and assistance from 12 Posyandu volunteers trained under UT's community empowerment program (Srikandi Lestari). The initiative targets children categorized as "yellow" or at risk of nutritional problems, aiming to prevent stunting from an early age.

"Through the Intervensi Gizi UT 2025, UT aims to contribute to early stunting prevention efforts. We believe that simple steps such as nutrition education and parental guidance can have a significant impact on children's health. Our hope is that this program will not only benefit the participants but also serve as an inspiration to build a healthier and higher-quality generation of Indonesians," said Meyta Hutapea, Team Leader of Corporate Communications at UT.

The program takes a holistic approach, covering nutritional status mapping for toddlers, capacity building for Posyandu cadres, and intensive mentoring for parents and caregivers. The activities emphasize education on healthy food selection, promotion of the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Movement (PHBS), and balanced nutrition campaigns. Through this approach, UT hopes the program will deliver tangible improvements in children's health in its partner communities.

UT believes that the success of public health initiatives can only be achieved through multi-stakeholder collaboration. Through its partnership with STIK Sint Carolus and Puskesmas Cakung, UT remains committed to making a meaningful contribution to improving community well-being, aligned with the government's national efforts to reduce stunting rates across Indonesia.
