Lane Closure - Kiwanis Avenue

Beginning on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the outside southbound lane of Kiwanis Avenue will be closed at 9th Street to allow crews to complete storm drainage and concrete surface repairs. Traffic will be maintained in the inside southbound lane at all times.

The work is expected to be completed in approximately 1-2 weeks, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution, reduce their speed when traveling near the work zone, and consider alternate routes to help minimize delays.

Lane Closure - Western Avenue

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, the outside northbound lane of South Western Avenue will be closed for approximately 300 feet between 69th Street and La Quinta Street.

Xcel Energy will be replacing a power pole. The work is expected to be completed and traffic control removed by the end of the day on Friday, September 11, 2026.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce speed while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
