Lindsay Rd./Loop 202 Underpass Closure This Weekend

Gilbert, Ariz. - Drivers in the Southeast Valley should prepare for a full weekend closure at the Lindsay Road underpass at the Santan Loop 202 as the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) advances work on the Santan Freeway improvement project.

Southbound and Northbound Lindsey Road will be closed at the underpass from Friday, January 23, at 10 PM through Monday, January 26, at 5 AM. Crews will continue construction tied to the broader Loop 202 widening effort between Loop 101 and Val Vista Drive. This project is designed to increase capacity, improve traffic flow, and upgrade key structures along the corridor.

What drivers need to know:

  • Expect delays and allow extra travel time.
  • Use alternate routes to navigate around the closure.
