SADC Council of Ministers conclude deliberations ahead of the 46th SADC Summit, 14 Aug

The SADC Council of Ministers, which is one of the statutory bodies of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), will conclude its meeting on Friday, 14 August 2026, ahead of the 46th SADC Summit scheduled to take place on 16 and 17 August 2026 in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

The closing session will include remarks by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Ronald Lamola, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the SADC Council of Ministers.

A media reception will be hosted on 15 August 2026, providing an opportunity for engagement. A new documentary about SADC will be launched during the reception, which is scheduled to start at 17:00.

Venue: Durban International Convention Centre (ICC).
