NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Chris Clark doing business as (dba) Arctic Drop Transport LLC.

PROJECT NAME: LAS 35871

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
Sagavanirktok River Mile 366.5 (5 miles north/downstream of the Ivishak River confluence). See attached map.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Section 35, Township 3 North, Range 14 East, Umiat Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Northern Region Land Office (NRO), has received a land use permit (LUP) from Chris Clark. The LUP will be in support of commercial activities on the North Slope. Chris Clark has requested to park a refrigerated trailer in support of hunting activities at the boat launch at MP 366.5 on the Dalton Hwy.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
5-year term: 2026-2031

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: Public comments are due by March 12, 2026.

The public is invited to comment on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
