Partial Road Closures This Weekend on Southbound I-680
A partial closure of southbound I-680 in Dublin will take place this weekend, October 18 to 21, between Alcosta Boulevard and the I-580/I-680 connector in Pleasanton, in order to replace an area of existing deteriorated roadway with new pavement. The closure will begin at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 18, and the road will reopen on Monday, October 21, at 4:00 a.m. The three right-hand lanes of southbound I-680 will be closed, with two left-hand lanes open.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and take alternate routes this weekend. If you do travel in this vicinity, please be aware of CalTrans workers on the highway, and construction vehicles entering and exiting the area.
