MoWest to host Family Day

Sept. 10, 2025-Missouri Western State University will celebrate Family Day on Saturday, Sept. 13.

Across the MoWest campus, a full day of events will welcome families of MoWest students with check-in beginning in Blum Union at 10:00 a.m. The day will culminate with a Griffon football game in Spratt Memorial Stadium with kickoff at 6:00 p.m.

Morning events include a Family Legacy coffee social and the newly-renovated library will be open for tours.

The Center for Service hosts Griffs Give Back, partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peacefor Bunks Across Americato build beds for local children in need. Space is limited for this event, so registration is required. Register here: https://http://griff.vn/GGB2025.

Other events throughout the day include a walking tour of campus, monarch butterfly tagging on the John Rushin Teaching and Research Prairie, a Scanlon Hall open house and many other fun activities.
