Active Parent application available at Bank Millennium

Bank Millennium has made available an application for the benefit in the Active Parent program in its mobile app and online banking service. The program supports parents in returning to professional activity and raising a child aged 12 months to 3 years.

The government's Active Parent program was launched on October 1. It includes three types of benefits: active parents at work (the so-called grandmother's benefit), actively in the nursery (it replaces the subsidy for nursery stay), actively at home (it replaces the family care capital).

A parent or guardian may receive one benefit per child and will receive from PLN 500 to PLN 1500 per month (PLN 1900 per month in the case of a child with a disability). The benefit is available for a period of 24 months from the 12th to the 35th month of the child's life. There is no income criterion. Submitting an application in the bank's services is convenient and fast as some of the data is automatically inserted into the proper fields. The completed application will be sent to the Social Insurance Institution, which will make a decision on granting the benefit.

- Making the application available is part of the strategy of building a digital society and expanding the range of additional services in the bank's electronic channels. We see that our customers are very eager to take use the possibility of dealing with official matters through the bank, which is why we are all the more pleased that we can facilitate these daily activities for them - said Halina Karpińska, Director of the Electronic Banking Department.

Bank Millennium has been consistently developing e-administration services in its electronic channels. It has made it possible to confirm identity with Millennium ID, set up a business online, as well as the possibility of submitting official applications for benefits under the Family 800+, Family 800+ for Ukrainian citizens, Good Start 300+ programs or a support benefit for adults with disabilities.
