City of Atlanta Advises Early Cart Placement Due to Anticipated Weather

Residents with Saturday service due to the MLK Day holiday should set out their carts by 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23.

Atlanta - Due to anticipated weather conditions, the City of Atlanta is advising residents whose solid waste collection day was changed to Saturday because of the MLK Day holiday to place all carts at the curb by 7 a.m. on Friday, January 23.

This proactive adjustment is intended to help ensure service continuity and protect public safety in the event of weather-related impacts.

Residents in need of additional assistance can contact the City of Atlanta by dialing 3-1-1 (within the City of Atlanta) or 404-546-0311. They may also download the Atlanta Solid Waste Services mobile app or visit https://www.atlantaga.gov/solidwaste to find their collection schedule.
