NEWS RELEASE

Tuolumne County

Lane Closures on State Routes 49, 108, And 132

Tuolumne County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane closures next week on State Route 49 (SR-49), State Route 108 (SR-108), and State Route 132 (SR-132). Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control between Mountain Brow Road and Mormon Creek Road for pavement work on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

State Route 108

  • One-way traffic control between the 8,000' elevation marker and Sonora Pass for blasting beginning Monday, October 21, through Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Lyons Dam Road and Clarks Fork Road for delineation work beginning Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 132

  • Moving, alternating lane closures between Bonds Flat Road and the SR-49 junction in Coulterville for pavement marker replacement beginning Monday, October 21 through Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
