That tells you everything you need to know about how out of control the situation has become. Violent crime can happen anywhere, and it's touching families in every community across America.

Yesterday, I joined The Faulkner Focus on Fox News to discuss how blue cities across the country refuse to deal with crime and-in contrast-what President Trump is doing to stop it. D.C. is a perfect example of what happens when we let law enforcement & National Guard do their jobs and work together: innocent lives are protected.

On the House Floor, I also supported a slate of bills, like the DC CRIMES Act, to crack down on crime in our nation's capital. The legislation now heads to the Senate, and it couldn't come at a more important time.
