Free 0105 Public Information basic course, June 23-25

UAA is partnering with the State of Alaska Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management to offer a free Basic Public Information course!

Don't navigate today's world in the dark. This course gives you the tools to find, evaluate and use information that matters, from local government decisions to community resources.

No experience needed, just curiosity! Whether you are a lifelong learner, a concerned citizen, or simply want to know more about what is happening in your community, this course is designed for everyone. You do not have to be a public information officer to attend!

Bonus: This course serves as a prerequisite to the Advanced Public Information course we are hoping to bring to campus later this year, signing up now puts you one step ahead!
