MU Employees Gather for EPPIIC Welcome Back Breakfast

More than 250 employees attended the Jan. 8 EPPIIC Welcome Back Breakfast, where Sue Rhoades, secretary in the Center for Health Education and Promotion, received the Skully's Circle Award. Presented twice a year at the All-Employee BBQ and the EPPIIC Welcome Back Breakfast, the award celebrates employees of Millersville University who demonstrate our EPPIIC Values by way of exhibiting exceptional performance and a positive demeanor in fulfilling their commitment to the University's mission, vision and strategic plan.

Five $75 gift cards to the University Store were raffled, as employees received a ticket for each nonperishable food item they contributed to The Hub, a nonprofit located on campus that offers free groceries and hot meals to Millersville students in need. Six hundred and fifty pounds of food was donated by University employees who attended the breakfast.

"With this donation, I was able to restock the shelves in preparation for students returning to campus," shares Vickie Weber, assistant director of The Hub. "The generosity of the MU employees is very much appreciated and a huge blessing to the students in need."
