All Weekend Campsite Decorating Contest
Cast your ballot to vote for the best decorations in campground 3. Ballots are collected at the Nature Center throughout the weekend. The winner will receive a voucher for 2 nights of camping at Pokagon. The winner will be announced on the Pokagon Facebook page the following week.

7:00-9:00pm Spooky Night Hike
Think you can hike to Pokagon's highest point IN THE DARK? Go to the Potawatomi Inn lower parking lot to begin this self-guided walk on trail 3. Along the way, look for fun and spooky (but not TOO spooky) Halloween-themed stations. Sturdy footwear and flashlights are recommended for this 2.2-mile, moderately rugged hike that includes stairs. Sponsored by the Friends of Pokagon. Donations are gladly accepted! Donut holes and apple cider will be available for a suggested donation. Apple cider sponsored by Stroh Orchard.

10:30am-12:00pm Pumpkin Carving Contest
Create your own Jack-O-Lantern masterpiece on the CCC Shelter lawn. Pumpkins and carving tools will be provided on a first come-first served basis. Participants may carve, paint, or decorate pumpkins but are encouraged to bring their own carving tools and/or craft supplies. Winners of each age group will receive a toboggan gift certificate. Pumpkins provided by the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.

1:00pm Happy Owl-oween!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to the CCC Shelter lawn for a presentation with Soarin' Hawk Raptor Rehab. See live owls and learn how these amazing birds are adapted for life in the wild. In the event of rain, this program will be held inside the CCC Shelter. This event is made possible by the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.

3:30-4:30pm Trick-or-Treat Bag Decorating
Come to the Nature Center Auditorium to decorate your very own trick-or-treat bag. Markers, stickers, and bags will be provided. While supplies last. Craft supplies provided by the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.

5:00-6:30pm Trick-or-Treating

Put on your Halloween costume and head over to Campground 3 to fill your bag with treats! For those not staying in the campground, please park in the Main Beach parking lot and follow the paved bike path to Campground 3. Volunteers will begin setting up at 4:30 pm.
