Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs welcomes ‘The Voice’ of Tejano Jay Perez Sept. 17

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. - Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs will welcome the smooth, soulful sounds of Tejano star Jay Perez at 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, at SEVEN Bar inside the casino.

Affectionately known to fans as "The Voice," Perez has spent more than three decades building a legacy as one of Tejano music's most respected and influential artists. His unmistakable vocals and electrifying stage presence complement a signature sound that blends traditional Tejano with smooth R&B and soul influences.

Perez launched his solo career after earning acclaim with David Lee Garza y Los Musicales and quickly rose to become one of the genre's biggest stars. His catalog features numerous fan favorites, including "Ven a Mi," "Nada," "Tu," "Eres," "Necesito Odiarte" and "Vino Maldito."

Throughout his celebrated career, Perez has been named Tejano Male Vocalist of the Year eight times, recognized as Male Vocalist of the Decade and nominated for eight Latin Grammy Awards. These honors reflect his enduring talent and impact on Tejano and Latin music.
