Starting Monday, March 23, 2026, 9 am, the City of Miami will make paper pre-applications available for income-eligible City residents who are interested in purchasing one of three, new construction homes in District Five as their primary residence. Per the City of Miami code, a City resident means an individual or household that has resided within the City's boundaries for the immediate past twelve (12) consecutive months. The resident requirement is waived only for current City or Miami-Dade County first responders (including police, fire, and emergency medical personnel).
To qualify, the applicant household completing the pre-application must meet all of the guidelines of the City's First-time Homebuyer Program (www.miamigov.com/FTHB) or other available City downpayment assistance programs, including having a household income no greater than 120% of Area Median Income (AMI) as defined annually, based on the household's size. The two (2) twin homes, to be located at 1465 and 1467 NW 60 St., will each be priced at $250,000. The one (1) single-family home, to be built at 411 NE 69 St., will be priced at $300,000. All three homes are set for completion by the end of the Summer of 2026.The construction of the homes is funded via the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and Miami Forever General Obligation Bonds (GOB).
Paper pre-applications will be available starting on Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 3, 2026, at the District Five Offices located in Liberty City, Little Haiti, Model City, Overtown, Wynwood/Edgewater, and the Upper Eastside. Please visit www.miamigov.com/district5 for specific details on those locations. Completed pre-applications along with supporting documentation will be accepted in person, beginning Monday, April 6, 2026 through Monday, April 13, 2026, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, at the office of the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust, 4800 NW 12 Ave., Miami, FL 33127. The Trust's Office is the ONLY location that will accept completed pre-applications.
Pre-applications will be reviewed on a first-ready, first-serve basis. Applicants who provide a pre-approval letter from a participating lender when submitting their pre-application are considered "first-ready" in the process.
