City of Republic - A project realigning Greene County Route MM between Farm Road 160 and Route 60 in Republic to begin the week of February 16th, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Crews will begin installing work zone signs and other items the week of February 16 in preparation for the widening work.
The project will realign Greene County Route MM between Farm Road 160 and Route 60, install a roundabout on Route MM (Brookline Avenue) at Farm Road 160, and build a bridge over the BNSF Railroad south of Haile Street in Republic.
Route MM lane closures are scheduled to begin in March. Traffic impacts, such as traffic shifts, will go into effect in Spring 2026. Traffic alerts will be released to alert the traveling public of future traffic impacts. Those interested in the Greene County Route MM Realignment Project in Republic are invited to a public meeting on Thursday, February 26, to discuss traffic impacts during construction and project information. The come-and-go style meeting will be held 4:30 - 6 p.m., Thursday, February 26, at the Republic City Council Chambers, 4221 S. Wilson's Creek Blvd, Republic. A news release with more information regarding this public meeting will be sent out later this week.

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., Columbia, is undertaking the work for a low bid amount of $22.7 million.
The project is scheduled for completion by May 2028.
