Turner Construction Company has once again been named the largest building contractor in the United States by Engineering News-Record, marking the fifth consecutive year the company has earned this distinction.
In 2024, Turner secured $26.14 billion in new contracts, up from $20 billion in 2023. The company also posted strong revenue growth, reaching $20.24 billion compared to $17 billion the previous year.
Turner's momentum continued into the first quarter of 2025, reporting $6.14 billion in revenue and $8.19 billion in new orders in the first three months of the year. This performance was fueled by sustained demand in the data center, healthcare, sports, and education sectors.
A key driver of Turner's success is its strategy to serve clients in strong and high-growth markets. The company is also increasing the delivery of its service offerings- including technical engineering, supply chain solutions, self-perform capabilities, and offsite construction-and growing its presence in Europe. This includes the recent acquisition of Dornan, an engineering and construction firm active throughout Europe.
Turner is currently delivering landmark projects such as a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans, a terminal building at San Diego International Airport, and an artificial intelligence (AI) data center for Meta in Louisiana.
"The success of our company lies in our people," said Peter Davoren, Chairman and CEO, Turner Construction Company. "We consistently strive to create and sustain a workplace culture of active caring where people can be at their best, be authentic, and be treated with respect and dignity. This culture is what enables Turner to continue to earn recognition in the industry."
