Concerts on the Rooftop Returns to Monona Terrace

Monona Terrace invites the community to celebrate summer with the return of its popular Concerts on the Rooftop series. Guests can enjoy live music against the stunning backdrop of Lake Monona and downtown Madison. The rooftop and Lake Vista Café open at 5:30 p.m., with performances from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

THURSDAYS:

June 4 Nauti-Nauti sails the cool ocean waters of the 1970s and early '80s to celebrate the sounds of yacht rock with songs of Little River Band, Linda Ronstadt, Boz Scaggs, Carole King and more along for the cruise. The band holds several Rockford Area Music Industry (RAMI) Awards, including the 2025 People's Choice Artist of the Year and Best Female Vocalist.

June 11 Sixteen Candles travels the country to bring '80s music to life in full force for a memorable and exciting concert experience that you won't soon forget. Experience the nostalgia and energy of the greatest decade of music - the 1980s!!

June 18 Kinfolk is an American R&B band based in Madison, playing an array of traditional jazz to mainstream R&B and rock-based music to funk, Latin, and Jamaican-based rhythms, as well as a variety of soulful original tunes. Kinfolk is lauded for their captivating live performances, which infuse soulful harmonies and gritty vocals to recreate memories of the past and point to the promise of the future.

June 25 La Combi is an eclectic Latin Band that gets its name from the "Combi'" buses of Peru which are the main public transportation. La Combi has something for every Latin American taste, including Peruvian Salsa, Chicha (Peruvian Cumbia), Merengue, Festejo, Bachata and more!

July 9 Granny Shot is a cover band based in Madison, WI that plays all your favorite alternative rock, hard rock, and pop punk hits from the '90s and '00s, as well as some classics from the '70s and '80s. With shredding guitars, tight vocals, and high-energy antics, Granny Shot will treat you to a generous helping of the nostalgic hits you know and love.

July 23 Gold Dust Women isn't just a tribute band-it's a powerhouse of top-tier musicians, each a standout performer. When these dynamic personalities come together on stage, they create pure magic, bringing the music of Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and a few unexpected surprises to life with electrifying energy, captivating musical alchemy through collective dedication to their craft, the Midwest music community, and each other.
